Crushing & Screening Plant Operator- Greater Sudbury
William Day Construction is actively seeking applicants for a Crushing and Screening Plant Supervisor. The ideal candidate will manage a crushing/ screening plant while maximizing material production and minimizing plant interruptions and/or break downs.
Duties/Requirements:
- Coordinate with Mine Sites production and demands
- Coach, mentor and develop employees to achieve their full potential
- Record keeping and daily production schedules for submitting reports on production and maintenance
- Meet or exceed production targets and deadlines
- Reports Directly to Crushing Operations Manager
- Manage Health & Safety audits-performance reviews-site inspections-customer contract safety requirements
- Must be qualified to work in a safety sensitive environment.
- Knowledge of JHA’s / PHR’s an asset
- Ability to clearly communicate and deliver instruction
- Leadership
- Possesses and understands the importance of Time Management
- Scheduling Plant Maintenance with maintenance team and subcontractors
Requirements:
- 5 years’ experience minimum required in aggregate processing.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Must possess and maintain a Valid Driver's license
- Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Crushing and Screening Maintenance and troubleshooting Knowledge Mandatory
- Availability – Shift work - Days/Nights/7 Days/Week
- May require out of Town Work
Position:
- Work schedules can vary depending on client requirements. Primarily all dayshift hours.
