Pipe Fusing Technician- Timmins
Duties/Skills:
- Effectively communicate to all site personnel and co-workers
- Maintain daily logs of equipment usage, maintenance, etc.
- Identify, report, and correct hazards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Punctuality
- Promote and implement Day Group’s Safety Culture
Requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year experience
- Experienced with pipe fusing, fusing equipment and pipe laying
- Heavy equipment operator is an ASSET (excavator/ loader)
- Chainsaw experience is an ASSET
- Physically fit to manually lift pipes and material
- Valid Drivers License with a clean abstract
- Current CPIC required
- Work inside and outside in all weather conditions, and various locations
- Ability to work independently and self-motivated
- Team Player; able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal
Position:
- Permanent Full-Time
- Labour work is required when no fusing is available
- Social Club, Benefits and Pension Plan available
- Wages commensurate with experience
- Positions are at Remote Camp, 7/7 with Bonus
