Heavy Equipment Mechanic- Timmins
Skills and Responsibilities:
- Inspecting and repairing Rock Trucks, Dozers, Loaders, Excavators and other heavy equipment for proper performance
- Diagnosing faults using testing equipment
- Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts
- Repairing damaged equipment parts
- Cleaning, lubricating and conducting routine services
- Servicing machine attachments like blades and side booms
- Performing major repair work when necessary
- Schedule maintenance for equipment
- Consulting other mechanics on jobs
- Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management
- Participate in discussions to plan daily tasks/look ahead
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Certified Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Experience in a mine setting work environment
- High level of dependability with attention to detail
- Full driving license with clean abstract
Position:
- Permanent
- Full-time
- 12 hour shift
