Site/Parts Clerk- Timmins
The Site/Parts Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the parts, invoices, and, work orders required for the Timmins division. The Site/Parts Clerk is a member of the sites and mechanical team and provides support to other roles as required
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Process incoming requests from site supervisors and issue or distribute parts, supplies, for internal usage
- Issue purchase orders when required
- Communicate with other departments for directing internal runner on pick-up and deliveries
- Maintain records of orders and costs, tracks, and locations of parts and or supplies in inventory tracker
- Maintain inventory of spare and replacement parts for motor vehicles, machinery, and equipment as per company standard
- Advise users on correct parts, supplies, or materials requested
- Assume tracking duties for rentals required
- Receive and store incoming parts and supplies as required
- Perform other duties as they may be assigned such as radio management and building maintenance
Requirements:
- Two (2) years experience in this field would be considered a STRONG asset
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and quality
- Strong team player
- Excellent client service skills
- Capable of working independently and in a group
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Organizational, problem solving, and, decision making skills
- Working in a fast paced environment, under pressure, repetitive tasks, and able to physically lift parts
